One of our highest priorities is making sure our edibles are consistent and safe. It's a commitment we’ve made from the start and, we believe, is something all patients and consumers have a right to expect from any product on the market. We know our business and our reputation depend on the quality of our products, and we approach our testing program with constant refinement and innovation.
Our testing first and foremost covers the concentration of Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC potency. We know our customers want to get what they’re paying for: no surprises. But did you know we also test for pesticides, microbiological contaminants, and residual solvents? Our testing methods are in accordance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) established by the FDA for the manufacturing, packaging and distribution of over the counter (OTC) drugs.
We only use the highest quality extractions in manufacturing our products. We purchase extracts only from local companies, and in every batch the extractions themselves are tested for potency, safety and pesticides to ensure they are clean before incorporating them into our recipes.
Then we perform a final test on the finished product in each batch we make to ensure it meets our strict standards and will satisfy our customers’ expectations. If the result is anything less than perfect, we reject the batch and it never enters the marketplace. This ensures that every product we sell is free from harmful pesticides, contain the correct amount of THC, and are safe and ready to enjoy.
Every batch comes with a certificate of analysis (COA), outlining the standards a product has been tested for. Currently, we work with Pharmlabs LLC in San Diego, CA and SC Labs in Santa Ana, CA. Since May 2017.
Want more information on our California testing program? Care to see the certificate of analysis for a particular product? No problem. We would love to hear from you. Please see our Contact Us section to get in touch.
